Gym and Exercise Classes

We have a specialised gym and studio at BrainTree Wellness Centre, where we offer a variety of exercise classes and gym sessions, suitable for people with MS and Parkinson’s.

We know that exercise helps maintain function and independence for people with Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis, while helping with the management of fatigue and other symptoms. Our classes can also be great for socialising with people who can understand your particular circumstances and abilities. There’s a wonderful sense of camaraderie and compassion between members and our class leaders.

Cost per Session:

Concession Cards = $10 per session (For 10 or more sessions)

My balance improved significantly due to the standing up and drumming, however, my main challenge remains in trying to walk without freezing, particularly with othe distractions, which will continue as a work-on.

The "only" real challenge was trying to walk without freezing. It was great to be able to change the music's speed or beat to cater for individual skill levels. Marching at the normal speed proved too difficult for me personally but I could see that it was great for others in the class. The smiling faces while walking said it all.
