Gym Timetable 2021

Please note the following protocols will be in place in the gym during Level 2

  • There will be a maximum of 10 members in the gym at one time exercising (this number includes any support persons who may also be attending).  If someone arrives to attend open gym and the gym is ‘full’, then they will be asked to wait in their car (or in the entrance area if they did not come by car) until someone has left the gym.
  • Members will be asked during Level 2 to limit their exercise session to 45 minutes so that we can allow for enough time for all members to have an exercise session.
  • Members will be encouraged to use their own face masks during their exercise session.
  • Members will be asked to keep 1 meter apart during exercise.
  • Members will be asked to please use the disinfectant wipes available generously and regularly to clean equipment during their session.
  • If weather permits, we will also keep the gym door open during our sessions to keep fresh air circulating. Please let us know though if you become uncomfortable with the temperature.

Parkinson’s Power is a high energy class for those who are in the early stages of their Parkinson’s and looking for a BIG challenge! We focus on exercises that make you work hard and challenge your balance and coordination. You must be in good general health to join this class. This class is not suitable for people who have had previous falls or experience freezing.$8
