You will be working as part of the health team including a nurse and exercise coordinator to develop individual self-management plans and to educate, support, assess, and assist those living with MS or Parkinson’s, including their whanau and carers. This role will appeal to you if you wish to continue to learn and upskill on MS and Parkinson’s conditions and work closely with those in the neurological field.  A collaborative approach is key to the role as you work with the MSP team to develop relationships with other neurological providers and liaise with neurologists and other health professionals. Assisting our service users and whanau to navigate the integrated health system is an important aspect of our work.

You will need a current annual practicing certificate and the ability to conduct assessments for health management plans for people with MS and Parkinson’s and Parkinsonisms.  Our ideal candidate will have previous experience with MS, Parkinson’s, or other neurological disorders, and experience delivering educational presentations to groups.  You will have outstanding communication skills.
